Tell Your Senator to Oppose SB 1115-1118! Saginaw, Flint, Traverse City, and Lansing, Michigan
Insurance companies and doctors' organizations are again trying to limit access to compensation for victims of medical errors. SB 1115-1118 would give sweeping new protections to doctors who make errors in judgment and limit the amount of compensation victims can receive.
Medical malpractice lawsuits are one of the few remedies available for people who have significant additional medical bills, have been disabled, or lost loved ones due to medical errors. These bills would make it so that doctors will not be held responsible for their mistakes.

The program will create an email for you addressed to your state senator. We have created an introduction and closing to the letter urging a no vote on SB 1115-1118. The vote on these economic immunity bills for doctors could be any day now in the Senate Insurance Committee and possibly on the Senate floor.
